Mario Bellini "Camaleonda" modular sofa for B&B Italia, in aniline leather, Italy, Mid-70's, three elements.

Our atelier carefully restored this vintage edition using Hermes colour leather. With "Camaleonda", Bellini revisited the possibilities of buttoned upholstery in a way that gives form to a modular frameless seating system. By combining seats, backrests, and armrests, you can enjoy the luxury of changing your mind as many times as you desire, moving and redesigning the space. All original B&B labels still intact.

Mario Bellini (1935) is one of the most influential and innovative contemporary architects. Starting in the early 1960s working on urban planning, he became one of the most critical product and furniture designers of the 20th century. He won 8 Compasso d'Oro and prestigious architecture awards. The rediscovered "Camaleonda" modular sofa is maybe his most iconic piece.
