Eames low back armchairs with aluminum base in off-white colour. Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in co-operation with Alexander Girard. The la Fonda chair was originally designed by the Eames couple for the “La Fonda Del Sol” restaurant in the Time Life Building (NY) during the 1960s, an interior design project by Alexander Girard.

 

Original from the United States, 1960s. Marked on shock mounts with Herman Miller logo. Good vintage condition. Shock mounts are strong and intact. Some signs of use, however no damages or repairs. Glides have been replaced, the chairs have been cleaned, but not restored.
