On Friday August 22, Atelier UMA & Studio Sluizer invite you to an evening of elegance, spectacle, and just the right amount of nautical drama.
In celebration of SAIL Amsterdam, we’re setting off in style floating past Tall Ships with a bunch of aesthetes, connoisseurs, and heritage lovers (yes, that includes you).
With the city of Amsterdam as our stunning backdrop, this is not just a boat trip….it’s a floating soirée. SAIL is a one-of-a-kind experience, where you’ll sail among majestic Tall Ships, sip something sparkly, and bask in excellent company. Each evening ends the only way a grand maritime celebration should: with a dazzling fireworks display that rivals the northern lights.
20:00 – Welcome
Gather at UMA / Studio Sluizer on Prinsengracht 537, where we’ll kick things off with a welcome drink and some mingling that’s as effortless as your outfit.
20:45 – All aboard
Our charming skipper greets you personally before we sail straight into the heart of the festivities. Think: twinkling city lights, epic ships, and drinks flowing smoother than a jazz solo. Oh, and the snacks? Chef’s kiss!
Bold Flavours with a Wink
- Veal tartare with pickled gherkin gel & quail egg
- Brioche with smoked rib-eye & green asparagus
- Tuna sashimi with soy caviar, mango-ginger chutney & wakame crisps

21:30 – Showtime on the Water
It’s lights, music, magic—and ships from all corners of the globe. The grand finale? A breathtaking show featuring fireworks, drones, and possibly a few gasps of delight. Instagram can barely handle it.
23:45 – Return & Happy Ending
We cruise back to Prinsengracht 537 with full hearts and slightly fuller stomachs. That lingering feeling? Pure, stylish bliss.
