HAY is a very good covering paint with a fine grain. The application technique with which Hay is applied to the wall creates a very nice subtle clouded effect on the wall. Hay is very suitable for indoor & outdoor use. It is also very suitable for bathrooms and toilet areas. To achieve the best results and ensure a flawless finish, we recommend applying two coats of paint.
NOTE:
On freshly plastered walls, always apply our Farm primer first to counteract suction before painting.

Suitable surfaces
Cement and gypsum plaster, painted walls, exposed or prefab concrete, fibre cement and wood.
Surface preparation
Clean thoroughly and remove loose paint. Ensure new plaster is fully cured. For wood, fill gaps and lightly sand for a smooth finish.
Brush effect – Indoors
After the primer dries, apply 1 coat of HAY using crossed brush strokes (diluted max. 10% with water).
Brush effect – Outdoors
Apply 2 coats with crossed brush strokes (diluted max. 10% with water).
Drying time

New or untreated surfaces
Use HAY Primer on highly absorbent surfaces. Clean powdery areas and treat with Fixative when dry.
Wet or high-use areas
Suitable for wet rooms, but not inside the shower. An optional topcoat adds protection against dirt and dust.
Precautions
Avoid eating, drinking or smoking during application. Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Do not dispose of paint in drains; use designated waste facilities.
