First adopted by workshops and the Royal Air Force for its practicality, Bestlite gained worldwide recognition after Architects Journal praised it as the first sign of Bauhaus in Britain  a reputation later reinforced when Winston Churchill chose a Bestlite for his desk.

Now part of the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London, Bestlite remains a beloved contemporary classic.
