Due Più Armchair
Due Più Armchair
The Due Più armchair by Nanda Vigo is a bold and enigmatic design that challenges conventional ideas of seating. Defined by two cylindrical forms that appear to float within a minimal frame, it creates a striking balance between structure and illusion.
Futuristic in expression, the chair reflects Vigo’s unique design language. A refined geometric metal frame interacts with light in a subtle and precise way, while the soft volumes introduce a sense of contrast and unexpected character. The combination results in a piece that feels both rational and expressive.
The seat and back consist of cylindrical elements padded with single density polyurethane foam and upholstered in Mongolian goat fur. This material adds depth, texture, and a sculptural softness that enhances the visual impact of the design. The sled base in tubular metal with a chrome finish provides a clean and reflective foundation.
Reintroduced by Acerbis, the Due Più armchair is produced with a steel frame and fur sourced from food industry waste, aligning the design with contemporary principles of circular production and responsible material use.
A true design icon, the chair received the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023, reaffirming its relevance and enduring appeal. A piece that exists between art and function, bringing character, innovation, and a strong visual identity into any interior.
