Echoing Barba Corsini’s modern yet timeless design philosophy, the H2O Table Lamp created in collaboration with Joaquim Ruiz Millet carries the architectural spirit of Corsini’s iconic PD2 Floor Lamp. With its sculptural form and clean lines, the H2O brings life, depth, and character to any interior space.
In 1955, Barba Corsini was commissioned to remodel the attics of Antoni Gaudí’s landmark La Pedrera in Barcelona. What was once a laundry and storage area became 13 modern apartments, each furnished with Corsini’s own designs, inspired by the building’s organic architecture.
Decades later, during the 1991 restoration of La Pedrera to Gaudí’s original vision, Corsini’s interiors were dismantled most of his pieces lost to time. It was then that architect and gallerist Joaquim Ruiz Millet discovered and saved the PD2 Floor Lamp, sparking a collaboration to revive and preserve Corsini’s work. The H2O Table Lamp is a continuation of that legacy a tribute to mid-century Catalan modernism and a celebration of architectural design reborn.
