Something Old, Something New Book by Studio Maria Elena

A wonderful book by studio Maria Elena, one of Uma's muses.

In her book 'Something old, something new', Maria Elena gives you a simple 'taste' of the history of different style periods.  Each style has its own story about why certain pieces of furniture were designed and what social developments have influenced them.

The book is full of quotes that will encourage you to think about the question, what period are we living in today? She concludes the book with the intriguing question, how will we look back on the period in which we live now in 20 years and how will we see that within the world of interior design?
